WHO ARE YOU?
Inklings.TV founders Naomi and Carrie met in March 2007 through work. It was during a discussion that revealed that they both archive their old issues of Alternative Press in chronological order, that they realized they were the same person. They started Inklings as a way to shed more light on up-and-coming/hardworking bands.
WHAT DOES INKLINGS MEAN?
In addition to being the name of the concert venue Naomi used to book shows at in college, The Inklings was the name of a literary discussion group associated with the University of Oxford. The group, which met between the 1930s and 1960s, consisted of literary enthusiasts who read their unfinished works aloud to each other. Members of The Inklings included J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis.

Dislikes: music elitists, the term "guilty pleasure", loud people at quiet acoustic shows, the L train, when guys spit all the time for no reason

Likes: bringing my (expensive) camera into circle pits, wool blankets, arranging my DVDs by spine color, chocolate Lab puppies, xxx vitamin water, the floorboards in old farm houses and other unique spaces, time travel.
Dislikes: venues in Brooklyn that just have port-a-potties, brosters on fixed gear bikes, when i have to get stitches after Thursday shows, boring vanilla cake at birthday parties.

Bands I Like: Portugal. The Man, The Dear Hunter, Forgive Durden, Bayside, The Mars Volta, Jimmy Eat World, Minus The Bear, Pink Floyd, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin, Anberlin, Underoath. That's it, I don't like any other band.
Likes: Apple Inc, Martin Scorsese, Digital Booklets, Jack Daniels, Mario Kart Wii, Frank Sinatra, midnight movies, and Student filmmaking.
Dislikes: Film students, 'Twilight' fans at Underoath shows, elevators, The Early November breaking up, The Format breaking up, and you know when you buy a DVD and then a special anniversary edition comes out a month later? I hate that.

Likes: Gonzo Journalism, "Rock and Roll Sushi" at Whole Foods, burnt-out Hippies, box sets, macro photography, back issues of High Times magazine, obscure experimental music, and cheesecake.
Dislikes: Ann Coulter, when you buy a high-end piece of electronic equipment and something new and better comes out the following week, manufactured Pop music, moshpits, "Convenience Fees" on Ticketmaster, Differential equations, and mechanical pencils.

Likes: When my roomates write hilarious songs for me, witnessing unexpected acts of kindness, waking up on Sunday mornings with my best friends, sea mammals (not sharks!), floating on my back in the ocean.
Dislikes: Cruelty to animals (they don't have a voice), pessimists, dried meat, I generally dislike un-kind people.

Dislikes: Cliques, owning a road bike to be apart of something, killing people, impure love, nasty people, gum on shoe or in hair, awkward handshakes, t-rexes (T-Rexes have tiny arms and huge weiners. They're complete dicks, eating up everyone in sight. Selfish and disloyal if you axe me.)

Dislikes: wait....wouldn't this just be the opposite of my likes? like disliking crowded movie theaters? oh well....public restrooms, arrested development only being 3 seasons long, spiders, heat, sand, seagulls, (yes...i don't like the beach! deal with it!!!)
